The Kitchen Set Up By a Chef
By: Dale Crouse, Tue Sep 18th, 2007
Recently our church rented the local community center for a crafts bazaar. We were going to serve lunch so the kitchen was to be used. As we set up what did we find? We found a kitchen that was set up for use by a Chef. The cookware was stored on pot racks and on shelves. Everything was in the proper place, stored very efficiently and handy for use. As we unpacked the food we were going to prepare, it was an awesome feeling to be able to use such fine restaurant equipment. After all the bags and boxes were emptied we were ready to cook some good food to serve to our hungry customers.

It is just important that you stay within your available budget and determine what the essentials are that really need to be changed.

The other day, New York City had a new tourist destination. People would gather around the window of a downtown chain fast food restaurant to watch rats play behind the counter and in the food preparation area. News cameras were on hand and all of New York watched in horror as large rodents frolicked undisturbed at a restaurant that had passed the Board of Health Inspection the day before. The restaurant was closed the next day and has since re-opened.

  3. Kitchen Counter Stools: Can They Save Marriages?
By: Marc Hardey, Wed Jun 20th, 2007
You can’t help noticing that recently, you and your family are spending more quality time in the kitchen than in any part of the house. The sad thing about this is that there’s very little space in your sparse kitchen area. With the entire household converging there early in the day, there’s higher risk of cocoa adorning the floor or poached eggs flying through the air and landing on someone’s shirtfront. What does a practical little housekeeper like you do? Why, buy kitchen counter stools, of course! It’s an inspired decision, really. Bulky tables and stuffy chairs take up too much space. Countertops and the more ergonomically appropriate kitchen counter stools will not.
